California woman Chanel Tapper sets Guinness World Record with 9.75 cm tongue

Digital Desk: Things that seem bizarre on one side are achievements for some; one such example is Chanel Tapper, a student from California, USA, who has captivated the entire world with her huge tongue, which measures 9.75 cm (3.8 inches) from tip to center of lip. This unique trait helped her set the Guinness World Record for the longest female tongue.

Tapper first became aware of her distinguishing feature at the age of eight, during a Halloween photo shoot with her mother. She recalled, "I saw I had a large tongue when the images from Halloween were printed. But I suppose it became obvious in middle school when people began commenting on it."
