Delhi blast accused Dr Umar’s Pulwama house demolished

Digital Desk: Dr. Umar Nabi, the primary suspect in the Red Fort explosion, had his Pulwama home demolished by security officials on Friday.
According to the authorities, the house was destroyed using an IED.

The demolition took place on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.

Authorities have connected Dr. Umar-un-Nabi, a doctor who is thought to have been operating the Hyundai i20 implicated in the November 10 Red Fort explosion that left over 10 persons dead and over 20 injured.

Following the explosion, Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted nocturnal raids and arrested six persons, including three members of Dr. Umar's family.

Officials said Umar had reportedly maintained contact with two other doctors from Kashmir, detained after the Faridabad terror module was uncovered, which included the seizure of 2900 kg of explosives.

DNA samples taken from the bomb site matched those of Umar's mother, confirming his identification.
