Following yet another difficult scenario in the capital city of Kathmandu, when demonstrators set fire to the Nepali Congress party's central office in Lalitpur's Sanepa area, the prime minister summoned an all-party meeting earlier on Tuesday, according to The Kathmandu Post.
According to reports, the demonstrators also set fire to the homes of President Ram Chandra Poudel, Prime Minister Oli in Balkot and Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak.
The new wave of unrest follows the government of Nepal lifting its ban on social media platforms a day after protests against the ban and government corruption, spearheaded by Generation Z, left over 400 people injured and at least 19 people dead.
