Digital Desk: Jung Hoseok aka J-Hope and Min Yoongi aka Suga, both members of BTS, contributed 100 million won each to help victims of forest fires in South Korea.

Big Hit Music stated on the 27th that J-Hope and Suga had donated funds to help with wildfire damage in the Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam provinces.

“We hope that the protracted wildfire situation will end as soon as possible. We hope that those who have lost their homes and are struggling and everyone working hard to put out the fire can quickly return to their peaceful daily lives. We hope that this donation will provide some comfort and hope," Suga and J-Hope stated through their agency, BigHit Music.

J-Hope made a 100 million won donation to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association. The funding will be used for disaster emergency relief, local community recovery, and disaster assistance for disadvantaged populations.

Suga contributed 100 million won to the Korean Red Cross. The funds will be used to give food, drinks, and other needs to residents affected by the wildfire.

South Korea is currently dealing with forest wildfire outbreaks in its southern regions. The outbreak has killed at least 24 people, including a helicopter pilot, and prompted over 27,000 people to evacuate.
