US starts deporting migrants to India
Digital desk: The United States has started sending migrants to India as part of President Donald Trump's deportation agenda. A US military aircraft carrying migrants reportedly flew from Texas to India. Thus far, this is the furthest deportation flight destination during the Trump administration. The Pentagon has started offering flights to deport more than 5,000 immigrants detained at US facilities in El Paso, Texas, and San Diego, California, according to reports.
According to "NDTV," a US military plane that departed from Texas approximately six hours ago deported 205 Indian people who had entered the country illegally. The report also stated that every Indian national who is deported is checked, demonstrating New Delhi's role in the deportation procedure. The Indian nationals are reportedly being flown home by a US military C-17.
