Digital Desk: South Africa ended a 27-year drought by defeating Australia by five wickets in the ICC World Test Championship Final at Lord's on Saturday.
The Proteas made short work of the 69 runs required to win the mace on the fourth morning in London, with Kyle Verreynne hitting the winning shot to give South Africa their first men's senior ICC championship since 1998.

Aiden Markram's 136 helped South Africa defeat Australia by five wickets in the World Test Championship final on Wednesday. Pat Cummins took up Temba Bavuma early in the piece, and Mitchell Starc bowled Tristian Stubbs to give the team hope.
