WCL 2025 trophy lifted by South Africa; gives Pakistan a smashing defeat

Digital Desk: South Africa's champions defeated Pakistan's champions by nine wickets to win the WCL 2025 title at Edgbaston. A stunning hundred by AB de Villiers (120*), which included 12 boundaries and 7 sixes, powered the South African team to victory on the day.

AB de Villiers' comeback to cricket was a triumphant one, as he scored his third century of the World Championship of Legends 2025, leading South Africa Champions to victory over Pakistan at Edgbaston. AB de Villiers, with this feat, also was named as the Man of the Match.

The WCL Champions of the Year 2025 recieved a grand prize money of 200,000 USD. South Africa also emmersed in the celebration after winning their maiden title in a popular 'Aura Farming' style.

On the master's tour, AB de Villiers scored an unbeaten 120* off just 60 deliveries to start the batting and help the Proteas chase down a total of 196 in 16.5 overs.

With this dominant victory, South Africa Champions earned their first WCL championship.
