IPL 2025: Lucknow Super Giants thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad for a Dominant 5-Wicket Win

Digital Desk: Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh smashed SRH's total, allowing LSG to win easily by five wickets in their IPL 2025 match at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

LSG chased down the goal of 191 in 16.1 overs, with Pooran scoring 70 off 26 and Marsh scoring 52 off 31.

Earlier, Shardul Thakur took four wickets and scored 34 runs in his four overs to help LSG restrict SRH to 190 for 9. In the third over of the innings, Shardul Thakur dismissed Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan with successive deliveries, rocking the Pat Cummins-led team.

However, Travis Head's ferocious attack (47 out of 28) kept SRH going. Prince Yadav cleaned up the southpaw, and LSG came back strong. Aniket Verma struck 36 off 13 while captain Cummins blasted 18 off four as SRH stuck to their formula of scoring early runs, which paid off.
