Kapil Sharma’s Café attacked for 2nd time; responsibility claimed by Bishnoi gang
Digital Desk: The comedian Kapil Sharma and his wife Ginni Chatrath's Kap's Cafe in Surrey, British Columbia, was attacked once more on Thursday, August 7, 2025. In the last month, there have been two incidents at the cafe.
The fatal shooting was claimed by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who said that Kapil's connection to Salman Khan was the cause of the assault. According to India Today, the motivation was disclosed in a voicemail that was leaked by gang member Harry Boxer.
Harry Boxer's voice note revealed, "allegedly fired at Kapil Sharma's restaurant due to his invitation to Salman Khan's inauguration on Netflix."
Moreover, he threatened to kill anyone working with Salman, including actors and directors. A video on social media showed the attack, with at least 25 gunshots heard. Goldy Dhillon, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility through a Facebook post.
