Kartik Aaryan receives Maharashtrian Of The Year award in Actor category
Digital Desk: Kartik Aaryan was awarded another feather to his cap after winning the Maharashtrian of the Year 2025 award in the Actor category for his outstanding portrayal as Murlikant Petkar in Chandu Champion. The actor uploaded a post on social media with a touching message.
Kartik posted a photo to Instagram from the event, which included Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Governor CP Radhakrishnan.
Kartik stated on his insta post, “Maharashtrian Of The Year. Thank you, Honourable Governor CP Radhakrishnan ji."
Notably, the actor after accepting the honor, stated in his speech, "Receiving this award is a source of great pride for me and my family. I was born in Gwalior, but I now work and have found success in Mumbai. The affection I've experienced here has been incredible. Mumbai is the film industry's beating heart, and I have always wanted to visit. Arriving here marked a watershed moment in my life. As it is written in the Gita, I do not focus on the fruits of my labor; instead, I continue to do my work. If earning such a famous Maharashtrian award is the reward, I will continue to work hard."
Meanwhile, on the acting side, the movie star has several intriguing projects lined up. He will appear in Anurag Basu's upcoming film, which also has Sreeleela in the major role. The actor also appears in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, produced by Dharma Productions.
