Ranveer Allahbadia (Beer Biceps) refrained from doing shows after SC stays arrest

Digital Desk: The Supreme Court has put a stay on the arrest of YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, in the first information reports (FIRS) against him in Maharashtra, Assam, and Rajasthan for his obscene and vulgar remarks during a recent episode of India's Got Latent.

Justices Surya Kant and N. Kotiswar Singh issued the order after Allahabadia requested interim protection. The court allowed interim protection but directed Allahbadia to cooperate with the probe and restrained him from performing any other shows.

The court has stayed the arrest of a petitioner under Mumbai and Guwahati FIRs, stating that they must join the investigation when summoned. Interim protection is granted on the condition of full cooperation without a lawyer inside the police station.

The court also ordered no further FIR to be registered against Allahbadia for the controversial episode and his remarks on the show.
