SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan lands in legal trouble for Rs 22 Crore Alibaug Land Deal
Digital Desk: Suhana Khan, the daughter of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, is allegedly under investigation for her acquisition of agricultural land in Alibaug. Official documents claim that Suhana purchased two plots in 2023 and 2024 for a total of Rs 22 crore.
The transactions were recorded under the name Deja Vu Farm Private Limited, which is purportedly owned by Suhana's grandmother, the mother of Gauri Khan and Gauri's sister-in-law.
A plot in Alibaug's Thal village was reportedly bought for Rs 12.91 crore from three sisters, Anjali, Rekha, and Priya, who inherited the land. Suhana reportedly paid a substantial stamp duty of Rs 77.46 lakh during the transaction.
The land had initially been designated for farming by the government, which raised concerns about the transfer's legality. According to reports, Suhana was listed as a "farmer" on the registered documents at the time of purchase.
Sandesh Shirke, the resident deputy collector, has instructed the Alibaug Tehsildar to submit an objective and thorough report on the matter.
Legal challenges could be made to the purchase if it is established that agricultural land norms were broken.
As the land issue remains in the spotlight, Suhana is preparing for her debut on the big screen in her father’s eagerly awaited movie, King.
