Shiv Sena workers vandalize Mumbai Comedy Club over Kunal Kamra's remarks

Digital Desk: Morning visuals from the Habitat Comedy Club in Khar, Mumbai, reveal the aftermath of a vicious vandalism attack by Shiv Sena workers loyal to Eknath Shinde. The incident occurred last night, following a backlash against comedian Kunal Kamra's remarks about Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Kunal Kamra aimed at Maharashtra politics and the election, referring to the breakaway factions of the Shiv Sena and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), claiming that "one guy" started the trend and using the term 'gaddar' (traitor) to describe the individual.

“Jo inhone Maharashtra ke election me kia hai... bolna padega... pehle Shiv Sena BJP se bahar aa gayi fir Shiv Sena Shiv Sena se bahar aa gayi... NCP NCP se bahar aa gayi... ek voter ko 9 button dediye... sab confuse ho gaye…” Kunal Kamra said.

Shiv Sena deputy leader Rahool Kanal and Vibhag Pramukh Shrikant Sarmalkar were arrested by Khar police in western Mumbai for vandalizing the Unicontinetal The Habitat in Khar West, while Shiv Sena MLA Murji Patel filed an FIR against Kunal Kamra.
