Captain Cool M.S. Dhoni's new feat unlocked! earns drone pilot certification from Chennai’s Garuda Aerospace

Digital Desk: New feat unlocked by the former Indian captain, cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, as he completed his drone pilot training at Chennai's Garuda Aerospace's DGCA-approved Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO).

MS Dhoni, a brand ambassador and investor in Chennai-based Garuda Aerospace, has now advanced his partnership with the company by earning his drone piloting certification.

Dhoni recently announced on social media that he had obtained his drone pilot license. Leading Indian drone manufacturer Garuda Aerospace verified that its investor and brand ambassador had finished the course at its Chennai-based Remote Pilot Training Organization, which has been approved by the DGCA.

Around a year and a half ago, Dhoni expressed interest in becoming a drone pilot in a conversation with Agnishwar Jayaprakash, the founder and CEO of Garuda Aerospace. Dhoni recently trained with the team despite his hectic schedule, and he showed great focus and rapid learning.

Jayaprakash stated that their team is highly motivated by Dhoni's dedication to their goal of revolutionizing the drone industry.

Over 2,500 pilots have received extensive theoretical and practical training from Garuda Aerospace, an RPTO approved by the DGCA. The company has six DGCA approvals and is the first Indian drone startup to receive dual certifications for manufacturing and training, allowing it to train pilots for both small and medium-sized drones in response to the growing need for qualified drone pilots.
