Delhi Road to be named after Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma- Amit Shah
Digital Desk: On March 16, Home Minister Amit Shah attended the 57th Annual Conference of the All Bodo Students' Union (ABSU) in Bodofa Fwthar in Dotma, Kokrajhar, praising the ABSU's crucial contribution to achieving peace and fostering development in Bodoland.
As a mark of appreciation, Amit Shah announced that a major road in Delhi would be named after Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma, a prominent figure in the Bodo cause.
Furthermore, in the first week of April, a bust of Upendra Nath Brahma will be unveiled in the presence of Assam's Chief Minister.
During his keynote address, Shah extended gratitude to ABSU workers, saying, "First and foremost, I want to thank ABSU for allowing me to participate in this convention."
Amit Shah ended his statement by confirming the government's commitment to protecting the traditional Bodo religion, Bathou Dharma, and securing its national status.
