Indore couple missing case: Wife among 4 arrested in husband’s murder
Digital Desk: The wife of Indore man Raja Raghuvanshi, who was found dead in Meghalaya during their honeymoon, has been arrested in connection with the alleged murder of her husband. According to authorities, Sonam, the wife, recruited contract killers to carry out the murder.
After being discovered unconscious in a Ghazipur "dhaba," Sonam was brought to Ghazipur Medical College for treatment, where she turned herself in to the police. Overnight raids in Uttar Pradesh and Indore resulted in the arrest of three further suspects.
Further investigations are underway, and the police are questioning the accused. Conrad K. Sangma, the Chief Minister of Meghalaya, applauded the police for successfully solving the case.
Taking to his 'X' profile, CM Sangma stated, "Within 7 days, a major breakthrough has been achieved by the #meghalayapolice in the Raja murder case...3 assailants who are from Madhya Pradesh have been arrested, female has surrendered and operation still on to catch 1 more assailant...well done."
