Digital Desk: On Saturday, March 22 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 7 wickets to start their Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025) campaign on a winning note.
Skipper Ajinkya Rahane led from the front with an incredible half-century (56 off 31) as KKR delivered 174/7 in their given 20 overs after being put in to bat first.
Virat Kohli (59* off 36) and Philip Salt (56 off 31) spearheaded the RCB's batting attack as they chased down the score in 16.2 overs.

After reaching 50 runs in just 22 balls, RCB finished with 80/0 in six overs, their second-highest powerplay total ever.
The RCB in the line-up is next to face the Roaring 5-time IPL title winner Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 28th March at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
