India wins 83 Gold medals at 2nd Asian Yogasana Sport Championship
 

Digital Desk: At the Asian Yogasana Sport Championship, India, as anticipated, put up a strong show, taking home a record 83 gold medals to lead the medal count on Sunday.

In addition to winning three silver and one bronze, India finished with a total of 87 medals, much ahead of Japan, which took home three gold, three silver, and four bronze. Mongolia, Oman, and Nepal completed the top five list.

More than 21 countries participated in the competition, including Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Uzbekistan.

Harsh Malhotra, Minister of State for Corporate Affairs, Ajay Chaudhary, Additional Commissioner of Police, Delhi, and other top representatives from the Asian and World Yogasana federations attended the championship's outstanding closing ceremony.
