Mandatory registration of doctors with Tripura State Medical Council

Digital desk: All eligible doctors in Tripura must be registered with the Tripura State Medical Council. The council has made this provision essential.

The council has published a new guideline urging doctors to complete their registration process as soon as possible. All medical professionals, including those in government and private practice, as well as recent graduates, must register with the state medical council.

Dr. Sushanta Roy, the council's chairman, stated that 3,804 doctors have registered with them, with 1,022 of them working for the government.

Roy stated that many doctors have not finished registration but should do so quickly. He stated that the government has made registration necessary for all medical professionals.

The council has not set a registration deadline, making this an open process.

All registered doctors with the Tripura State Medical Council (TSMC), Agartala, West Tripura, are encouraged to visit the official website to verify their information and submit any anomalies for correction.
