Manipur: 2 Jawans killed after BSF vehicle plunges into gorge

Digital Desk: A fatal calamity unfolded in Manipur's Kangpokpi district on Tuesday, killing two Border Security Force (BSF) officers and gravely injuring eight others.

The accident occurred in Changoubung village when a BSF escort vehicle lost control and went off the road, dropping many feet into a steep valley.

Meanwhile, the incident killed two BSF jawans instantly, while eight others suffered serious injuries.

According to sources, the vehicle was carrying 37 BSF members when the tragedy occurred. Following the incident, fellow jawans immediately launched a rescue operation, using ropes to pull the injured men out of the gorge.
