Manipur: Major ops carried out at Churachandpur district leading to recovery of Arms and Ammunition

Digital Desk: In a major operation on April 24, 2025, joint security forces in Manipur's Churachandpur district discovered a large stash of weaponry and ammunition, including a five-foot rocket launcher.

Based on intelligence, the operation targeted Teijang village, resulting in the confiscation of numerous weapons and explosives.

The operation resulted in the recovery of an extensive range of guns and explosives, including a five-foot rocket launcher, carbine machine gun, country-made single barrel rifle, mortar (Pompi firearm), carbine magazine, Ten 9mm live bullets, ten mortar bombs, pumpi shells, a high-explosive bomb, two 36-type hand grenades, twelve empty AK-47 cartridge boxes, and one anti-riot colour marker grenade.
