Manipur: Security Forces Recover Arms, Ammunition and Explosives in Tengnoupal area

Digital Desk: Security personnel conducted significant search operations and area control drills as part of a large security operation aimed at preserving peace and stability in the peripheral and vulnerable areas of hill and valley districts.

During the operation in General Area Saivom Village, Tengnoupal District, 10 (ten) IEDs, 08 (eight) Hand Grenades, 02 (two) 9 mm Pistol (Country made) with mag, 04(four) rounds of 9mm ammunition, 04(four) Pompi Shells (small) and 04(four) Pompi Shells (Big) were recovered.

During another operation, conducted in the Wabagai Buffalo Farm region within the jurisdiction of Kakching Police Station in Kakching District, resulted in the seizure of a large stockpile of arms, ammunition, and tactical gear.
