PM Modi to attend Sikkim’s 50th statehood anniversary celebrations on May 29- Sikkim CM PS Tamang
Digital Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has formally accepted the invitation to take part in the year-long celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of Sikkim's statehood, according to an announcement made by Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang on May 20.
Furthermore, PM Modi will participate in the historic milestone ceremonies and is expected to arrive at the Himalayan state on May 29.
CM Tamang, who met with the Prime Minister in New Delhi, said he was proud to represent the people of Sikkim on this momentous occasion.
CM Tamang took to X, showing gratitude, he posted, "distinct honour of calling on the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri @narendramodi Ji, today in New Delhi."

The chief minister also thanked the prime minister for Operation Sindoor's success at the meeting, calling it a significant victory in India's continuous war on terrorism.
CM Tamang further conveyed his appreciation to Prime Minister Modi for his invaluable time and ongoing assistance to the Sikkim people. He urged everyone to unite in welcoming the prime minister to the state with open arms during this momentous occasion.
