Rajkummar Rao confirmed to play Sourav Ganguly in his biopic
Digital Desk: Former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly will be portrayed by Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao in an upcoming biography. Ganguly confirmed the story while saying that there are some challenges with the project's scheduling dates.
"From what I've heard, Rajkummar Rao will play the role (the titular role), but there are issues of dates, so it will take more than a year to hit the screens," Sourav Ganguly stated Thursday during a media appearance in Bardhaman.
The biography, which has been discussed for some time, aims to highlight Ganguly's life and career since he is frequently credited with revamping the Indian cricket team. Rajkummar Rao, famed for his versatile acting abilities, has been recruited to adapt Ganguly's story to the big screen.
