Rohit Sharma complains BCCI about Sunil Gavaskar; blames his harsh criticism for BGT loss in Australia

Digital Desk: India's Test captain Rohit Sharma had a difficult tour of Australia, hitting just 31 runs in five innings. His gap in the Indian team caused a great misahp, Sharma missed the final Test match at the Sydney Cricket Ground, causing India to lose both the game and the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which they had held for ten years.

Fans and observers, notably batting legend Sunil Gavaskar, criticized Sharma's disappointing performances. Sharma expressed concerns to BCCI officials over Sunil Gavaskar's critical remarks during a meeting, claiming that external pressure had a negative effect on his play.

Gavaskar firmly believed Jasprit Bumrah would have been an excellent pick to head the Indian team in the series against Australia.

"Rohit thought that Sunil Gavaskar's criticism of him was inefficient, which is why he filed a complaint with the BCCI. All of this generated so much pressure that he felt obligated to reveal everything to the BCCI," a source claimed.

Currently, Rohit has returned to Ranji Trophy cricket for Mumbai to fix his batting issues after a decade away, but despite his best efforts, he scored only 31 runs in a disheartening loss to Jammu & Kashmir.
