Digital Desk: The Shillong Citizens Forum has issued an appeal for the voluntary closure of business establishments in Shillong on April 28 as a mark of solidarity with the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.
The attack, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent citizens, has sparked widespread outrage and condemnation.
Business establishments in Shillong are requested to remain closed on Monday, April 28.
The Shillong Citizens Forum has appealed to the Rangbah Shnongs in Shillong to issue a similar appeal within their respective jurisdictions.
The voluntary shutdown is seen as a powerful testament to the unity and resolve of the citizens of Shillong in the face of terrorism.
