TV actress and BB 12 winner Dipika Kakar diagnosed with Liver cancer (stage 2)
Digital Desk: Actor Dipika Kakar disclosed that she is suffering from a stage 2 liver cancer diagnosis. Dipika gave followers an update on her health in a statement she posted on Instagram.
Dipika talked candidly about the trying weeks and how a routine hospital visit for stomach ache resulted in a diagnosis that changed her life. For the past three days, Shoaib Ibrahim, Dipika's husband and actor, has been updating fans on her condition.
The past few weeks have been "one of the most difficult times" they have gone through, according to Dipika.
The star went on to say that she is confident in her ability to overcome the challenge.
Shoaib and Dipika discussed her health extensively on his YouTube channel. According to them, because Dipika is still recovering from her virus, the surgery that was supposed to take place this week has been postponed.
Dipika claimed that once the tumor was surgically removed, the physicians promised to cure her. The pair requested good thoughts and prayers from their fans. Additionally, he disclosed that Dipika was in pain because of a gallbladder stone.
Taking a dig at Dipika's health, she was admitted to the hospital recently due to pain and a high fever. On his blog, Shoaib had discussed her health. "When we saw our doctor again, he requested that we perform a CT scan, which revealed that Dipika had a tumor in her liver's left lobe. It's about the size of a tennis ball. For us, that was really startling," he had stated.
