Team India jersey sponsorship rates are increased after Dream11 exit - BCCI

Digital Desk: The BCCI has increased the cost of sponsoring the Indian cricket team to Rs 1.5 crore for a game in a multilateral event and Rs 3.5 crore per match for a bilateral series.

These numbers will be applicable in tournaments that are approved and run by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and the International Cricket Council (ICC), per a report published in Cricbuzz.

According to the report, which cited industry sources, these numbers are marginally greater than the current rates of Rs 1.12 crore for multilateral matches and Rs 3.17 crore for bilateral games.

This comes after the government's Online Gaming Act, 2025, caused Dream11 to stop sponsoring jerseys.

Due to a government ban on businesses that deal in real money gaming and cryptocurrency, the BCCI on Tuesday invited bids for the Indian team's title sponsorship rights following the withdrawal of fantasy sports behemoth Dream11.

The Board has set September 16 as the deadline for bids, so the Indian team will not have a title sponsor for the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates beginning on September 9.
