Tripura: CM Dr. Manik Saha to attend Union Home Minister Amit Shah's meeting in Guwahati

 

Digital Desk: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, will attend an important conference in Guwahati on March 16 to discuss three new criminal law.

According to sources, the meeting would examine the implementation of three new laws: Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA).

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will preside over the meeting. These laws are intended to update and reform India's criminal justice system.

Ahead of the meeting, the Tripura Chief Minister conducted a review meeting on Monday to assess the state's readiness to implement these laws.

The meeting included the participation of several officials from the Home, Police, Law, Prosecution, Forensic, Health, and Prison Departments.
