Tripura CM announces 3 percent DA, DR hike for Govt Employees and Pensioners

 

Digital Desk: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha announced a three percent increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) on Thursday, which is a huge relief for state government employees and pensioners. On April 1, the updated rates will take effect.

During the announcement, Dr. Saha stated, "The state government has decided to provide a three percent increase in DA for employees and a three percent hike in DR for pensioners."

He added that the state exchequer would be burdened with an extra Rs 300 crore as a result of the decision. He went on to say, "We are dedicated to the welfare of government employees and pensioners despite financial constraints."

Thousands of workers and retirees throughout the state are anticipated to gain from the change.
