Virat Kohli retired early from T20Is: Suresh Raina
Digital Desk: Former India cricketer Suresh Raina says Virat Kohli stepped down from T20 Internationals too soon and could have competed in the 2026 T20 World Cup, which will be held in the subcontinent. Raina made the statement after Kohli scored a magnificent 70 off 42 balls against the Rajasthan Royals at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday.
Raina went on to say that Kohli still has a lot left in him and could have continued to contribute at a high level. At the 2024 T20 World Cup in Barbados, Kohli led India to victory, capping off his successful T20I career.
