World Test C'ship: Guwahati to host its first-ever test match against South Africa
Digital Desk: Proud moment for Assam as Guwahati will become India's 30th Test venue, after announced hosts for India vs South Africa's second Test from November 22 to 26.
On Wednesday, the BCCI released the calendar for India's 2025-26 home international season, reaffirming that the Test series against the West Indies and All-format series against South Africa will be part of the World Test Championship.

India's season begins with a two-Test series against the West Indies, featuring matches in Ahmedabad (October 2–6) and Kolkata (October 10-14).
The action continues a month later with South Africa's visit to India, which includes tests in Delhi (November 14-18) and Guwahati.
Following the Test series, India and South Africa will play three ODIs at Ranchi (November 30), Raipur (December 3), and Visakhapatnam (December 6).
This will be followed by five T20I matches in Cuttack (December 9), Mullanpur (December 11), Dharamsala (December 14), Lucknow (December 17), and Ahmedabad (December 19).
All ODIs will be day-night games beginning at 1:30 PM IST, while T20Is will be played under lights beginning at 7 PM IST.
In addition to these men's bilateral series, India will host the Women's One-Day International World Cup during its home season.
