3 terrorists involved in Pahalgam attack neutralized in ‘Op Mahadev’, confirms Amit Shah
Digital Desk: The central government, on Tuesday, confirmed that three terrorists involved in the dastardly Pahalgam terrorist attack have been neutralized.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, addressing the Lok Sabha, said that Suleiman Shah and two other terrorists were killed in the Dachigam encounter in Srinagar on Monday.
The two other terrorists killed in the army’s operation, codenamed ‘Mahadev,’ were identified as Jibran and Hamza Afghani. It may be mentioned here that Suleiman Shah was a terrorist affiliated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba.
After receiving a technical signal that the Pahalgam attack culprits were using a satellite phone, "Operation Mahadev" was executed.
Later, the local police received the bodies of the terrorists who had been killed, aiding in the identification process.
