Karnataka Dy CM DK Shivakumar Summoned Over National Herald Case by Delhi Police

Digital Desk:In a major political move, the Delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has summoned Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar and his brother DK Suresh in connection with the National Herald case.

The Congress leaders have been summoned to testify on December 19 about donations made to Young Indian. DK Shivakumar has angrily opposed the notice, calling it 'harassment' and stating that 'it is our money. We can give it to anybody we want. He thinks the investigation is politically driven in order to 'cause uncertainty' and single out Sonia and Rahul Gandhi.

The Deputy CM has vowed to defend the case legally, challenging the need for a new inquiry after the ED charge sheet.
