Across the nation, National Voters' Day is observed to encourage voter turnout and increase understanding of the significance of casting a ballot.

An event is being held in New Delhi by ECI to commemorate the day. President Droupadi Murmu will attend the function and give state and district officials the Best Electoral Practices Awards.
Moreover, this year's National Voters Day theme highlights, ‘Nothing like voting; I vote for sure.’
India has 99.1 crore registered voters, according to the ECI's official report. With 99.1 crore voters registered, India's electorate is getting close to 100 crore.
