Advantage Assam 2.0: MoUs signing continues on day 2 of Advantage Assam
 

Digital Desk: The second day of the Advantage Assam 2.0 investment and infrastructure summit witnessed the signing of several MoUs in the presence of Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Among the key agreements signed were:

- Rs 3200 crore MoU with Star Cement to boost cement production in the state.
- Rs 1500 crore MoU with Matheson Hydrogen Private Limited for setting up a 95 KTPA Hydrogen and Steam Generation Plant.
- Rs 500 crore MoU with Global Health Ltd for the construction of a multi-specialty hospital.
- Rs 275 crore MoU with Tamara Leisure Experiences Private Limited for building a five-star eco-resort in Kaziranga.
- Rs 510 crore MoU with Varun Beverages for setting up soft drinks and juice manufacturing plants.
- Rs 3000 crore MoU with Virinchi Ltd for the development of a 200 MW data center.
- Rs 200 crore investment by Virinchi HealthCare to build a 500-bed super-specialty hospital.
- Rs 700 crore MoU with UltraTech Cement to expand production facilities.
- Rs 400 crore MoU with Simba Logistics to enhance logistics infrastructure in Assam.

With the Adani Group committing Rs 50,000 crore across a number of industries, including infrastructure, cement, city gas distribution, and airports, the current summit has already surpassed expectations. The two-day business event in Guwahati reinforces Assam's image as a promising investment destination in India's northeast.
