India Post Reveals Zubeen Garg's Postcard

 

Digital Desk: In a major move, the Department of Posts, Government of India, produced a commemorative postcard with the portrait of the adored artist Zubeen Garg in honor of his 53rd birthday.

The postcard was unveiled on Tuesday night at the 98th Howly Raas Mahotsav stage in honor of the renowned vocalist who is still a vital part of Assamese culture.

Hemen Das, head of the Raas Mahotsav Celebration Committee; Colonel Aravind Varma, Chief Postmaster General of Assam Postal Circle; and Dr. Bhushan Chandra Pathak, principal of B.H. College is a well-known author.

Colonel Varma, speaking at the release event, described the move as India Post's humble attempt to honour Zubeen Garg.

Colonel Varma emphasized Zubeen Garg's compassion and caring toward others, stating that the postcard strives to spread the artist's ideas throughout the country.

He further expressed optimism that this special edition will help to spread Zubeen Garg's message and legacy beyond India.
