Digital Desk: The second day of the Advantage Assam 2.0 investment and infrastructure summit witnessed the signing of several MoUs in the presence of Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
During the two-day Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit in Guwahati, the SN Group of Companies signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) totaling Rs 485 crore.
Dr. Sanjive Narain, the owner of the SN Group of Companies, signed MoUs to establish hospitals and hotels.
On the second day of the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit, Dr. Sanjive Narain, owner of SN Group of Companies, signed a Memorandum of Understanding worth Rs 105 crore to invest in the hotel and tourism sector.
The investment aims to boost Assam’s hospitality industry, aligning with the state's efforts to promote tourism and attract high-end infrastructure development.
The agreement is expected to contribute to employment generation, enhanced tourism facilities, and improved hospitality services across key destinations in the region.
Earlier on the first day of the summit, the SN Group of Companies had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) worth Rs 380 crore.
Dr. Sanjive Narain, founder of SN Group of Companies and chairman of Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India - Northeast Development Council, has called for greater collaboration between the government and private sector in the healthcare industry.
Speaking on the future of healthcare development, Dr. Sanjive Narain stressed the need for a Public-Private Partnership model to improve medical infrastructure and services.
