This marks a proud moment for Arunachal Pradesh as Sonu becomes the first para-athlete from the state to earn such recognition on the international stage.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu took to social media to congratulate the young athlete. In his heartfelt message, he praised Sonu’s courage, determination, and unwavering hope, qualities that have propelled him to this remarkable milestone. "Shine bright, Sonu. My best wishes," Khandu wrote, reflecting the pride and admiration felt by the state for this extraordinary achievement.
