Assam: Congress MLA Nurul Huda attacks Deputy Speaker Numal Momin
Digital Desk: The Assam Assembly on Monday witnessed dramatic and chaotic scenes as Deputy Speaker Numal Momin accused Congress MLA Nurul Huda of physically assaulting him outside his chamber.

Momin filed an FIR at Dispur Police Station against Huda, alleging that the Congress leader had forcefully grabbed his hand, causing him injury.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a massive protest across Assam, demanding a thorough investigation into the attack on deputy speaker Numal Momin.
The protest, called by the BJP's Tribal Morcha, was held in each district headquarters, with party members and supporters gathering to condemn the incident and press for action.
The BJP's Tribal Morcha has also announced plans to send a memorandum to the Speaker of the Assam Assembly through the Commissioners of each district, seeking strong action against Congress MLA Nurul Huda, who is allegedly linked to the attack.
His attack has sparked widespread outrage and concern among the party's supporters and the general public.
