Assam: IMD alerts over heatwave; Minister Ranoj Pegu instructs to reschedule school hours in state
Digital Desk: The searing heat in the following week is soaring high in various states, Assam being one of them also records severe heat this week causing alert among the netizens.
However, amid this heatwave, Assam's Guwahati today records a temperature of 35°C °F, Precipitation of 0%, Humidity of 55%, and Wind flow of 6 km/h.
Taking an important notice to Twitter (X), Minister of Education, Ranoj Pegu stated, "Given the heat wave alert issued by the Indian Meteorological Department, all District Commissioners are requested to remain vigilant and exercise their delegated authority to reschedule school hours as per local weather conditions."

Pegu has instructed them to use their delegated authority to change school schedules based on current local weather conditions to safeguard kids' safety and well-being.
