Assam: IOC appoints Sunil Kanti as Executive Director And Head Of Guwahati Refinery
Digital Desk: The Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has named Sunil Kanti as the new executive director and head of the Guwahati Refinery.
Sunil Kanti's appointment follows up with the departure of former chief general manager and refinery manager P K Basumatary.
Kanti's educational background complements a mechanical engineering graduate from the Regional Engineering College in Rourkela; he was previously the executive director (Materials & Contract) at IOC's Refineries Headquarters in New Delhi.
Sunil Kanti officially took over the Guwahati Refinery on Tuesday.
Kanti joined IOC in 1994 as a mechanical engineer, bringing over two decades of industry expertise with him. Throughout his career, he has worked at major refineries in Guwahati, Barauni, Gujarat, and Digboi.
Sunil has joined along with his expertise in refinery operations, maintenance, materials management, and project commissioning, including foreign assignments.
