Himanta Biswa Sarma was photographed with his family during the Maha Kumbh Mela.

Meanwhile, after taking a holy plunge at the Sangam, Himanta Biswa Sarma told reporters, "I consider myself really lucky to have taken a holy dip here at the Maha Kumbh. The preparations were extremely good. I'd want to thank Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the entire administration for this.

"Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the Sanatana tradition has once again gained international attention. This Maha Kumbh demonstrates that Sanatana is the past, present, and future of the world," he stated.

As the world's largest gathering draws to a close on February 26, authorities anticipate that the number of devotees participating in sacred washing ceremonies will surpass 60 crore. To date, over 50 crore have done so.
