The Rukminigaon flyover will be known as Bhagadatta-I, while another flyover currently under construction at the Supermarket will be known as Bhagadatta-II.
The project, which was completed in a record nine months, is evidence of Assam's rapid urban development. After work started in October 2024, the ₹111-crore project is now prepared for public use. About 88 crore was spent on the core building, with the remaining funds going toward finishing touches and related infrastructure.
A long wait is ended for those experiencing traffic congestion; once the Rukminigaon flyover is inaugurated, Guwahati will take another step toward becoming a more mobile metropolis, providing relief to thousands who have endured traffic jams at Rukminigaon.
