Assam police arrests 10 people over assaulting Congress MP Rakibul Hussain; CM Sarma pledges to take action
Digital Desk: The Assam police have detained ten people in connection with the alleged attack on Congress MP Rakibul Hussain in Nagaon on February 20.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared information on the arrested individuals engaged in the event on his official X Twitter, stating that the police will take legal action against them.
"The police have identified the individuals involved in the alleged incident of assault on Congress MP Sri Rakibul Hussain," the chief minister of Gujarat wrote.

On February 20, Congress MP Rakibul Hussain was attacked by unidentified miscreants in Natun Bazar while on his way to a Congress workers' gathering in Gunabari.
Reportedly, a group of people masked their faces with black fabric and waved black flags at the MP before beginning the attack. His security was also assaulted during the chaos, heightening the tension in the situation.
