Assam's new Raj Bhavan will be inaugurated by Amit Shah on August 29
Digital Desk: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Assam on August 29 and officially inaugurate the newly constructed Raj Bhavan in Guwahati, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated on Friday.
People of Assam eagerly await the arrival of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji on September 8 and of Hon'ble Union Home Minister Shri @AmitShah ji on August 29 to dedicate a slew of projects to the people of Assam.

Shah's visit will feature a celebration for newly elected NDA panchayat members, who will be honored in a special ceremony.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma states, "On August 29th, the Union Home Minister will visit Guwahati. He will inaugurate the new Raj Bhawan."
Later that evening, he would commence the birth centennial celebrations of Golap Borbora, Assam's first non-Congress Chief Minister, before heading for New Delhi.
