Beloved ‘Rhode Island’ judge Frank Caprio passes away at 88

Digital Desk: At the age of 88, Judge Frank Caprio, renowned worldwide for his kindness and modesty in the courtroom, passed away. After a protracted fight with pancreatic cancer, the Rhode Island judge, who gained international recognition for his compassionate approach to justice through social media videos, passed away.

Caprio thanked fans for their prayers in an emotional Instagram post just hours before he passed away. Regretfully, I've experienced a setback. I'm back in the hospital now, and I'm coming to you again to ask that you keep me in your prayers," he said.

On Wednesday, August 20, his family confirmed that he "passed away peacefully" following a valiant and protracted fight against pancreatic cancer.

In addition, the family said that his legacy will endure because he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
