Bihar to vote in two phases: Nov 6 & Nov 11
Digital Desk: The election commission of India on Monday announced the schedule for the Bihar assembly elections.
The ECI announced that voting for Bihar assembly election will take place in two phases — on November 6 and November 11.
Counting of votes has been scheduled for November 14.
Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar made the official announcement on Monday, outlining key details of the electoral process.
The first phase will cover 121 constituencies, while the second phase will include 122 seats, making up the state’s total of 243 assembly constituencies.
According to the election commission, Bihar currently has 7.43 crore registered voters, comprising 3.92 crore men, 3.50 crore women, and around 14 lakh first-time voters.
The ECI said that extensive preparations have been made to ensure a smooth and transparent electoral process.
