The Mathematics examination for the IIS 1st Year Examination 2025, slated for the afternoon of March 21, has been officially canceled due to reports of a possible question paper leak.

On March 20, 2025, a notification (No. ASSEB-11/HS First Year/instructions/25/02) was sent, announcing the cancelation.

In retaliation to the breach, all Inspectors of Schools and Principals of Lead Colleges were asked to retrieve the sealed packets of Mathematics question papers from all institutions on March 20th (Letter No. ASSEB-II/HS FIRST YEAR/INSTRUCTIONS/25/03).

Subsequent reports and records produced by the relevant authorities confirmed that many private colleges broke test protocols by breaching the seal of Mathematics question paper packets prior to the scheduled exam date.
