Digital Desk: Mukhi, an Indian-born cheetah, gave birth to five cubs today, as stated by Minister for Environment, Forests, and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav.
Mr. Yadav stated on social media that this is the first time in recent memory that a cheetah born in India has procreated. He described this as a significant accomplishment for Project Cheetah and stated that the cheetah's ability to successfully reproduce after being born in India is a reliable indicator of the species' adaptability, well-being, and future prospects in Indian environments.
Mukhi, who was born in Kuno National Park and is currently 33 months old, is the first female cheetah born in India to have offspring, marking a new standard for Project Cheetah.
